Completely numb...

Brandon just called and informed me that they may be sending 1,500 men from Fort Bragg to Afghanistan in September for 6 months - 1 year. The thought of him traveling back to that dreadful place makes me absolutely sick... but in my heart I know he will come back home to me! God wouldn't bring two people back together just to rip them apart again. I am so proud of him, as well as my brother, for the men that they have become and for being able to go and fight for this country. They are two of the bravest people I've ever met and I love them both more than they will ever know!

I hate that he may have to go, but I am proud to say that the love of my life is a hero... to all of us.

_ Aww, hopefully Brandon won't have to go back to Afghanistan but, if he does just keep strong faith & he will back home before you know it! He is a hero for all of us & way stronger than many of us could ever be because, I know I could NEVER go through what they do for our country each & everyday! You dont know me but, I read your journal sometimes & I use to go to school w/ Brandon! Who is your brother? I just figured I'd leave you a comment! =)

I was a freshman or a sophmore whenever he graduated! I looked at your pics & seen you had my brother w/ Zac's picture & wasn't for sure if it was a close friend or what so I decided to ask! Hey there* just read ur entry* I dont know how you can do it IM about to go crazy with all this stuff* I mean last year I did great with it I admire ya for ur strong faith* Coy is going in June of next year for I think 11 months but Im not sure about that* I am bout go out of my mind just keep me in ur prayers*

Everything will be okay, Heather... you know it will be. You just have to have faith in God, in yourself, in Brandon, and in your love. Your mother was right... God wouldn't have brought you two back together just to rip you apart. I love you and you KNOW that I am always, always here.

Britty what would I do without you?

I know it will. I just hate it for him! I just know he will come home safe, but I just don't want him to go at all, ya know? I really don't think he will, though, for some reason. Maybe that's just my wishful thinking, though?

I got my Yorkie from a woman in Wise. Judy something... I can't think of her last name? lol* If you would like the number I could get mom to find it for you! She takes such good care of her puppies and I just love my little Anna-Belle! You definitely wouldn't regret purchasing one!

We paid $350 since she was a girl. I believe she has raised her prices now, though, due to the fact that the pet shops are raising their prices.

I hate that so bad. Just have faith that if he goes, everything will be just fine! It's a scary thing...trust me, I know! You are a strong person. Your brother and Brandon are my heros as for all the others fighting for our country! If you need a friend, I'm here for you!

Both of them are heroes.
And although the separation may be hard; he is doing a wonderful thing. Just remember to always pray if you all begin to struggle. Good Luck !

Yes he is... and I am so proud of him! It gets hard sometimes but in the end it will all be worth it!
